Attorney Robert H. Humphrey will address the prosecutors and defense attorneys for the State of Rhode Island during two (2) separate lectures in March regarding the availability of hardship licenses in certain DUI and Refusal cases. As analyzed in his 2015 R.I. Bar Journal article, “Rhode Island DUI Conditional Hardship Licenses” the availability of hardship licenses since January 1, 2015, is one of the most significant changes in Rhode Island’s DUI laws in the past two decades.
Attorney Humphrey is at the forefront of the changing prosecution and defense of DUI cases and will provide the audience with his unique insight into this evolving area of the law. His presentation will consist of a nuts and bolts analysis of when hardship licenses are available and the procedural steps which must be accomplished to obtain a hardship license and to have an ignition interlock device installed.
The attorneys at the Law Offices of Robert H. Humphrey are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to assist clients with both DUI and Refusal cases. Please contact Robert H. Humphrey, Esq., at (401) 816-5862 or e-mail him at rhh@rhumphreylaw.com.
